Filing a nil T2 return should not depend on how well you can see a screen, use a mouse or hear audio. If any part of this site gets in your way, please tell us. We will help you complete the same step another way while we fix it.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we follow the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

We describe the site as partially conformant. Most of it meets the standard and some parts may not yet. We would rather say that than claim a clean pass we have not verified.

What we have built in

• Headings in proper order, so a screen reader can move through a page by structure
• Alternative text on images that carry meaning
• Full keyboard navigation on every page, the checkout and the signing screen, with a visible focus outline
• Colour contrast that meets the Level AA minimum on body text
• Form fields with labels attached, and error messages that say what to fix
• Tables with proper headers and full gridlines
• Text that reflows without breaking at 400 per cent zoom and on a 360 pixel screen
• Descriptive link text, so “nil T2 filing cost” appears rather than “click here”

What is not there yet

• The payment field and the identity check use third-party components. We do not control their code and cannot guarantee they meet Level AA. If one of them blocks you, please contact us.
• One-time codes expire after a short time. If you need more time, contact us and we will send a new code.
• Some documents we send, such as the CRA confirmation, may be PDFs that are not tagged for screen readers. Ask and we will send the same content as accessible HTML or plain text.

Getting our information another way

You can ask for anything on this site, or anything we would normally send you as a document, in a format that works for you. That includes large print, plain text, accessible HTML, or read aloud over the phone.

There is no charge for this and you do not have to explain why you need it. Email info@corpnilfilingfor300.ca or phone 647-212-9559. We will agree the format with you and provide it in a reasonable time.

Completing the form by phone

If you cannot complete the online form, phone us and a member of our team will fill it in with you. The fee is the same, $300.00 plus HST per tax year. The signing officer still signs Form T183CORP and we still verify identity, because the CRA and our professional obligations require it.

You never need to visit our office to file with us.

Telling us about a barrier

If something on this site does not work for you, please tell us. Include the page address and what happened.

We aim to acknowledge feedback within two business days and to tell you what we are doing about it. Feedback about accessibility goes to a person, not a ticket queue.
